I have K3 Pro and not thinking so, they are not coming bright to me, it's delicious for my taste. Curious to learn what others thinking.

To my ears they are bright with the black filters, not with the silver filters.

Yeah, they are on the bright side with the black filters, the silver filters tame the treble a lot. They are not even that bright with the black ones as much as the tonality is too much on the cool side which makes the k3 pro a bit bright and unrealistic sounding with regard to the timbre and tone presented by the BAs. The silver filter sorta fixes that but veils the highs a bit too much and leaves you with a darker and less clear presentation.

I use my K3 Pros with the black filters as it gives me the best balance of sound. I found the silver filter made the bass bloat a bit too much which muddied the overall sound quality.

I wonder if my k3 pro has a problem. The treble/bass on the right side is a little louder than the left.

Nvm, there was a problem on the ear tips. The tips on the left side was not inserted properly.

@slaterlovesspam
I finally got a response from MaGaosi and here is what they said: "Hi 1clearhead, yes, now we have solved the issue with the glue on the tuning nozzle. And we provide 1 year guarantee for earphone head, but the cable only 3 month. Because if the user pull hard will easy to make cable broken."

"And you can let the customer go to find the store they directly purchased, let them to provide the after-sales service. and we will provide to our distributor as well."

MaGaosi also mentions: "It's important they purchase directly from our stores to get this guarantee."
Link to there stores: https://head-fi.org/f/threads/magaosi-k3-pro-impressions-and-discussions-thread.839011/

My personal opinion: If you want to purchase the PRO's or HD's, wait till' the end of June where I'm pretty sure the new rounds of PRO and HD's with the updated tuning nozzles will be in stores.

Wow, that's great news (for future owners at least)!

Hi, would like to ask everyone on this thread whether they have tried both K3 Pro and the new KZ ZS5 and would maybe give some comparison of both? I'm planning to upgrade my earphones from the VE Monk+, Rock Zircon, DZAT DF-10 price level kind of iem to better sound quality (better resolution/detail but still quite natural sounding is what I'm aiming for) and build quality, thus the K3 Pro, but was also recommended the ZS5 as well. I do understand that there's quite a significant price difference between the two, and most likely the K3 Pro would perform better, with the K3 Pro being touted as performing nearly as well as iem double its price. Does the ZS5 perform above its price range comparable to $100 iems or even better than the K3 Pro?

Personally I found ZS5 to be more neutral, the bass of K3 Pro is strong and the mids on K3 Pro is more withdrawn. Out of the box ZS5 has very little bass but it loosen up after a few hours. However, the fit and comfort of ZS5 is not as good as K3 Pro, which lay flat on your ears and you can sleep with it.

How bout the detail and resolution of the two? The K3 Pro should be better, yes? I listen to many kinds of music genres, though lately have been listening to vocal-heavy music and jazz...
