I believe all computers that Apple makes currently come with a combination 1/8th inch/mini optical out, yes.

I just placed my order for one from Apple.com they give some nice rebates for students, and since I just lost my iPod, the deal worked out!

Didn't have the cash to shell out for the SSD, but I'm excited to see how it works out.

What's sad is, my desktop for weeks has been mimicking the OSX layout on an XP machine...well, OSX and Vista:

*edited for the peoples*

I had to censor the desktop that I made, lol.

Was showing off that kind of desktop background really necessary?

...

Thanks for editing the post. = )

Hey oicdn, I dont know if you already bought a laptop but I want to recommend you the sony vaio TZ. Its in my opinion THE best ultraportable laptop on the market. It has a better design, much better battery life and even more features then the Lenovo X300 at the cost of a slightly worse processor and build quality.

The design is just drop dead gorgeous. In my opinion it trumps everything out on the market including the macbook air.

The TZ comes in multiple configurations. I got the low end version of the TZ with a 100gb HDD+dvd drive configuration for about $1200 including cashback. IMO you just cant beat it at this price. The high end version has a 64gb SSD + 250gb HDD. The TZ is the standard for ultraportable laptops. It trumps the X300 in terms of features and the Macbook Air in terms of design.
