Cold in Sunnyvale? I have my doubts.....
We Californias have no tolerance...at least @doushi has his A7 to keep him warm. Mine arrived with a defective right MMCX connector. I'm waiting for Linsoul to authorize a return / exchange, hopefully rapid shipping.

Ask me about the time my pipes froze when I lived in Redwood City....Now I live in a place where it gets below zero. A lot. Now that is cold.

I’m not qualified to comment on this matter.

I live on a island on the Aelutians, it's cold and really windy most part of the year. Had gone thru moisture condensation issues while I tried my TRN BA5 out side the house and this makes me worry about getting the A7 out out while I commute or hike around because of the design I fear they might cause an issue. Haven't faced any issues with NM2+ or Hisenior T2U and I use them a lott outside, they don't have any vents like the A7 though.

Sorry about that defective connector. On the plus note, that tripowin cable from linsoul bundle is pretty good

Just got this today! So far, it sounds amazing, and better than I expected, which is saying a lot.

Nice! Hoping mine come tomorrow. Let me know how your tiprolling goes since it seems we have similar ears that way. Thanks in advance!

I have a feeling you’re really going to like it A LOT! It doesn’t replace the NM2+ though, IMHO. With the duo of the NM2+ and the A7, that may be all one needs/wants.

So far, I‘ve tried the CP145 tips, Final E tips, ePro horn tips, and the Eartune elliptical tips. I like the elliptical tips the best. The CP145 and ePro tips cause driver flex for me, but they both sound really good, with tight bass and extended highs, but no increased upper midrange glare. I can tolerate the black nozzles w/o problems, but prefer the gold for a bit better overall balance, especially if in monitor mode. The Final E tips don’t cause driver flex, despite creating a tight seal. I’m not sure why. The problem for me with the Final tips is that they seem to blunt the transient attack a bit too much, including with the bass. The elliptical tips don’t cause driver flex for me, and have a great sonic balance, so they work best for me.

I honestly like the black, gold, and red nozzles, but the gold is a happy medium for me, both in pop and monitor modes.
