Yanyin Aladdin is a well-tuned hybrid, and SeeAudio Bravery is a well-tuned all-BA.

Correct me if I'm mistaken, but the See Audio Bravery is a 4BA set, not a hybrid? Seems to be aPure BA (knowles/sonions) setup without DD inside.

Good reviews for it, hope to try it one day.

LZ A7 is on NiceHCK for $250 on 11-11 without coupon-fu. Could get it down to an even more excellent price if you try.

Still in my top 3 IEMs of all time (only heard below $700). So much so that the mythical A8 is one of the only new releases I would be interested in at this point.

As much as the Pod loves his A7’s and A4’s before that Imma gonna have to have a pair of the A4 Pro’s. I think LZ is one of the very best Chi-Fi builders, if it had not been for the moisture issue with the 6 and Mini’s there would not be one ding for me because I love his tuning been enjoying my A7’s on the go via TRN BT20S Pro’s for some time now but do change out to my ikko OH10 Obsidians and Solos, so nice to have the TRN’s turn so many nice iem’s into wireless wonders

Yeah, finally found a pair with the blue & gray shades I love so much and have them in the cart now. Gonna pull that trigger shortly, been needing some iPhone charging cables too because my wife are their enemy # 1 I’m sure I’ll love them

Then again Pod needs another pair of iem’s like an Eskimo needs a tray of ice cubes

I still love my original A4’s, got mine for $195 and for me they are still one of the best sub $200 iem’s I’ve ever heard

I'm also a big fan of the LZ A7 (in gold monitor configuration).

My personally wish list for A8 would be:
-better bass (texture, definition, tightness, extension, slam)
-better timbre (it's already quite good but could still be slightly better)
-slightly smoother treble
-improved mmcx connector or 2 pin (I have had issues with mine)
-slightly smaller nozzle diameter for improved comfort
-less text on the iem face

Spend extra $30 and get Thieaudio Monarch. You will be thankful for the rest of the year.

I personally am a big fan of LZ, but cant say I am that impressed by the A4 Pro. Its more of a niche, than an outright recommendation....especially since it is priced so close to the A7.

So Riku, is it just close in price or does the A4 Pro hold it’s own against the A7 sound wise? If they were able to keep the house sound and attributes of the A7 I’ll probably not be deterred. I still never hesitate to grab my original A4’s because imho the A7 is not that big a leap Over the 7’s
