Yeah, the tape is like drinking water for me lol it never bothered me. The A6 however was too hot for me out of the box. It's calmed down by a lot after hours of burn-in with the stock black filter.
"Drinking water" lol, more like poison for me :joy:

LZ A7 available at penon.

Seems similar to the A6 but with an updated piezo driver.
All drivers are actually updated, from the DD (DLC to LCP), BA (most likely bellsings to knowles) and the Piezo (1 to 2 drivers).

But they are very different in sound.

I did see the knowles branding and thought the a6 had knowles too, just thought they don’t market that well. :p

I still have 3 sets of the A6 so i might get 3 sets of these too.🤔
3!!!
You have 3 duplicates of the A6??? Holy crap, you must be a big fan of it then lol.

Since there isnt any mentions on what BA they use, I assume it is bellsing. (most people would want to market it if they use knowles/sonions.)

I think I told you about it elsewhere, I asked one of the other reviewers about it and he said it was really good technically so i ordered one, then it became... 3.

Even after getting the expensive stuff, still rather impressed with the A6.

Must have forgotten then, sorry.

But yeah the A6 still impress me a lot (even after getting the A7 lol). :joy:
That price around 200 usd is a steal for it....if it werent for the many reports on moisture issues....(I really wished that LZ could fix that issue without changing anything about it)

What moisture issue? Guess I don’t listen to it long enough to get that.

FIY: I dont get the moisture problem either but there has certainly been enough reports of it that I cant fully recommend it to everyone. (I want to believe in my own "Wet wax causes moisture issue theory" lol)

Buy
How can one obtain additional filters for the LZ A6 Mini? The treble one is a bit piercing and the neutral one a bit woofy with not enough sparkle. I'd like to find something in between.
Buy the original A6 filters and use the light blue filter with foam, if you want sparkle without losing bass and mids. The black filter with foam has more bass and punch, but most of high frequecies are lost.
