Super early impressions from people that heard them before the sale started are that they are super comfortable, an overall improvement over A4 with better bass, treble, and overall resolution.

I have very high hopes for A5 because whenever I compare stuff to my A4's nothing surpasses them. I was even disappointed at HD650's combined with chord mojo when put against A4's with same amp/dac.

I don't think IT01 is even compatible with A4( although it01 is an excellent iem as i read from 100% positive feedbacks) maybe IT04 will be comparable with A5 and honestly this time i am more interested in IT04,

I'm really anxious to receive these! The 4 filters change 3khz-10khz, from +2 dB, to -2db. I actually think the refined filter setup could be a positive thing. Looking forward to getting these!

AFAIK review samples will be sent out mid January so hopefully by the end of January impressions should start to pop up.

If the sellers that have them listed already does indeed have the actual product in stock some customers should be able to hear them first and hopefully share their experience.

I really hope these are good. I never jumped on the LZ-A4 bandwagon, and I've been waiting for the A5 to try out LZ. But I think its a good idea to wait for a few reviews before ordering, My recent experience with Magaosi K5 was a disappointment even though I loved the K3 Pro. I've been looking at aliexpress and they're already available at many stores.
EDIT : Most Stores have it available for 269 now.

If the filters on the A5 do not impact bass response, I hope they tuned the bass somewhere between the A4’s black and blue filters, as that would allow for a fun but balanced frequency response, given the dB range of the mid/treble response customization. Personally I am pretty happy with my A4 but I would convert those to Bluetooth for phone use if I ever took the plunge in the A5s.

I always thought a nice feature of LZ was the strong but clear bass. So hearing that the A5 is like the black and red filters on the A4 is a good thing for me.

I still like my old A2 units.

As far as the comment that nothing beats the A4; try the FLC8S. Yes; 50% higher price but very nice.

These are on pre-order, i check the HCK store and status shows it is a pre order and shipping will hopefully start after 01/10/2018,
