Ouah !!!! Just received this morning, straight out of the box ( Black/Blue standard setup ) they are just ... GREAT.
Compared to A2S clearly two steps ahead...
Compared to A3 clearly one step ahead .
Those A4 are just perfect match with my fidue 2.5mm balanced cable . Now connected to Astell & Kern AK70..
GREAT music, Super bass energy, refined medium, ideal with female vocals ... have to listen more now :

Better check with the retailer. I can only tell that it is impossible to send the IEM back to China yourself.

Better check the ear plugs first : too small ? too big ? too much inside the ear - or not enough ?
A lot of the bass level comes from ear plugs setting...
 
My favorite Earplugs for A2 are SpinFit
For A3 Earsonics.
For A4 the standard black one so far so good...

Penon Audio is reliable and fast to deliver .  
 
After 12 hours white noise and 6 hours pink noise, the beast woke-up. 
Bass are now terrific, (still Black/blue combination as out of the box)
Medium are the major  strong point of A4s very detailed hearing things you can't get with A3, 
Treble very refined, not harsh .
Quite efficient , doesn't need amplifer
Very good soundstage as well..
This is a bargain at it's price. The new Earsonics ES3 i compared it to aren't any better but cost twice as much.

Gotta get A4 before EU puts additional taxes for aliexpress and other asian internet markets -.-
Seems like big corporations are "pulling out their guns" to sell their "brands" better (which are made mainly in asia cheaply anyway). Especially when Asian DIY "brands" and sellers have made big jump in audio and product quality.

With the a4, it might be true. I am enjoying these, a lot. Agree they are a bargain.

I read on some Ali express sellers pitch for the a3 that they 'kill k3003'. Obviously they are referring to akg k3003 which I have owned for 3 years or so.
 

In fact, after A2, LZ didn't sell his IEMs by claiming they can "kill XXXX". However, it's still common for alliexpress and taobao sellers making claims like these selling DIY IEMs, which personally I really don't like. As always, these claims are highly subjective or even false.
