I just received a ‘57 Foton from a good friend, and it’s the best thing I’ve heard in Lyr 3, but nothing (except maybe the JJ) sounds even just OK in this amp!

Well I'm using JJ right now and prefer it over the Zenith. Can't wait for the RCA and Raytheon.

I personally prefer the single tube on top of my Lyr 3 over an adaptor with 2 6J5 and I'm able to resist any sonic advantages that may have for now. But I'm weak and always curious so I can also see this happening at some point lol.

..... [2 x 6J5] ---> [1 x 6SN7] in Lyr 3 !! Especially if one uses Ken-Rad or GEC !!
