I am looking to invest in some good IEMs. These will be my first in-ear monitors. I own a pair of Audiotechnica ATH-A700, but they aren't really portable. I am looking for something that will require little or no amping. I am looking to spend up to 500, but i would prefer something lower than that. Thanks for the help!

I'm gonna go with either the EX600 or the SE425 for the ability to detach cables. It'll hold up more in the long run.

I'd suggest posting your music preferences and the source you listen from. Would give people a better idea as to what sort of sound signature may fit you best.
