Hey everyone,
I joined this site to get some suggestions for good around-ear headphones. I'm a music education student, so I want something that will give me as much of the original sound of music as possible. I am by no means an audiophile, but that's why I'm here asking for help. I figure I have about $200 in my budget to get a pair. The only ones I've looked at (due to my lack of knowledge in this area) are the following:
http://www.skullcandy.com/aviator/#brown360
http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2360512&retainProdsInSession=1
http://www.bose.com/controller?url=/shop_online/headphones/audio_headphones/around_ear_headphones/index.jsp

So, suggestions are really welcomed, and reviews of what you think of the others are also welcomed.

Thanks

Welcome to head-fi!

First, i'd take out of the list the Bose and skullcandy...not worth the price.

What are you looking for? Good bass? isolation? portability?

Please tell us which kind of music you listen to.

Nothing on your list.

My suggestion would be to do a search on SRH840- my favorite (mostly) neutral, detailed, affordable and easy-to-drive studio headphone.

Well, it'll be classical music mostly :p I'll be listening to other music on it too though, but I really want to be able to hear all the intricacies in the classical pieces for my assignments. Portable would be nice, since I"ll probably be going to and from classes with them at some point.

EDIT: That SRH840 looks really good o.o

Another EDIT: I'll be using them on my zune, my laptop, and the colleges computers if that makes  a difference
