hi Guys,
I just recently started to use my headphones more freqently while listening to music and now that I am about to get the Beyerdynamic dt-770 pro (32Ohm) I thought about getting myself a DAC/Amp combination that wouldn´t hurt my wallet to much. I also am thinking about getting the Grado SR80i and maybe also the Hifiman HE400 or something along this line and so I thought to myself that it would probably be the bust to have one that doesn´t color the music.
The only stuff I know for this typ of gadget are the Fiio and iBasso, but don´t have experience with either one. Since I am not going to take it with me, I thought maybe a full size one could be cheaper, but the few that I saw where pretty expensive.
For reference here are some that i found:
-Fiio E10 and E17
- Practical Devices XM5 or XM6
-Nuforce Icon HDP

here I have to add that the Nuforce already is crossing the border pricewise, but if I have to invest that much to get something i will be satisfied with for a while I will.

If you could give me some tips for what would be best i would really appreciate that.

In this hobby, unfortunately, you get what you pay for.  If you have the means to get the NuForce, that's the best on your list.  It's worth it.  Read up on the 6moons webpage about their review.

I have also contemplated the Nuforce, but in the end went for the Audio-gd NFB-5.2. It is at a similar price point, but in my opinion beats Nuforce in nearly every aspect - maybe with the exception of styling.
In particular I was concerned whether the amp will have enough grunt to drive some of the cans I wanted to use with it.

There's also the NFB-12 with very similar technical specs to the 5.2 but much cheaper.

The audi-gds seem nice and both are within budget, but since i don't really know anything about amps or dac i can't relly say. Could someone tell me what the difference between the nfb-12 and 5.2 is?
Also was able to raise rhe budget to 500€ so if there is something else out there, please let me know

I decided to go for the mav-audio D1 the recommendation of a friend with the thought about getting a dedicated head amp like the shiit lyr or something along this line some time later

Read my profile and my previous post here. You get what you pay for. I no longer have a D1. Think about that. It's rubbish.
