Looking for over ear headphones <=$200

I was kind of looking at Philips Fidelio as I work for Philips and would be cool to have some of their headphones, but I don't get an employee discount on them and they all look to be open back so it's a no go then.

Now that you bring it up, one of the most seemingly underrated headphones out there is the Citiscape Uptown, i love that headphone and it blocks noise really well. Also, super cheap now. Lots of bang for the buck

I will have one tomorrow. It was supposed to arrive today, and I even waited outside for five hours for it, but oh well. I will let you know what I think once I get it!

Well crap, if it's not one thing it's another. What about AKG 551 or 553?

I have the k550, which is very close to those and isolation isn't great, has some seal issues and they are also bass light due to peaky treble especially coming from the dunus. But these are all good headphones and the akg are at least very comfortable.

I have average sized ears I guess, I don't think anyone has ever said they're big, but not small either. Maybe I'll order them and if they aren't comfy just return them, Amazon is good with returns.

Well, if you try the Momentums and don't like the sound for some reason, there are enough people here very familiar with them that can offer you recommendations based on how the Momentums sound to you :)

Well QC25 and QC15 are out, tried them both at a Bose store and they both still feel like they're trying to suck my brains out through my ears. Momentums or P7 are up next to try.

Apple stores often have the P7s hooked up to an iPod (as well as a few other headphones), so decent setup for demoing. Be worth a visit to give them a listen if you have a store nearby.
