I always used basic 15$ BestBuy headphones. I'm looking for a new pair ~100$.

Good sounding with Guitar (Classic rock to Metal)
Sounds good with Acoustic Music, Rock, Metal.

Guitar -> PreAmp -> Mixer -> HeadPhones
PC -> Mixer -> HeadPhones.

I hate muddy sound* But I do like bass.

Thanks!

(First Post btw, and Im reading around forums to try find my answers)

Grado SR-80 sounds really good for guitars. Some find them uncomfortable though.
I think they're one of the best cheap headphones for rock and metal, but they're a bit bass light to me, but not too bad.

My suggestion though is the k240 Studio due to how comfortable they are.
I find them to have more bass than the SR-80. They're about $100 online.

I'm not sure if you need isolation though since both are open.

Wow, that was fast answer.

No need Isolation.

K240 Studio looks tempting here. The SR-80 Sits on the Ears right? And the K240 Cover them up ?

Superlux headphones are cheap and are great for that. Superlux hd681 has good bass and treble, a very fun sounding headphone, if you want a more natural sound, go for the HD668.

Is not the Real thing worth it?

Hey guys,
new here but not to headphones.

You can add the Shure SRH440's to that list....they have an amazing detail level.
