For the past several years I've been a rabid Klipsch fan. I've owned s4's, s4i's, s5i's, and x10's. Every pair I've owned however needs to be replaced at least once because the headphones simply die out. Either one of the earbuds dies on its own, or the wires inside the jack become dislodged and I have to jiggle it to get sound in both ears.
 
I love the sound quality but I'm tired of dealing with warranty repairs. Can anyone recommend a seriously durable pair of headphones that will compare with the x10's.

I am a fan of Etymotic durability...

I have a set of the ER-4 series that are over 10 years old and still play as a new set.

Plus the Ety ER-4 are fully supported and serviced by Etymotic.
