I listen to Electro-pop, Rock, R&B, Classical sometimes, and Techno.

I want a comfortable set of cans (Full size would be prefered) to use straight out of my ipod. I would be using them on the way to school, at home through my laptop, and on transit.

I would like best sound quality to take the most important spot, then Isolation and sound leakage protection as well.

I've been looking at the SRH750 DJ's and the SRH440/840's.
I know its open, but I've also been interested in the Sennheiser HD485's slightly.

Please comment with your ideas on the best set of phones for me, and if you have otehr suggestions, let me know! Thanks so much Head-fi.

I recommend the SRH750 DJ. *excellent* phone for the kind of music you specified.

Very nice smooth deep bass, clear mids and highs as in typical Shure fashion. However I just realized you said straight out of the iPod. Not sure if the iPod can drive it properly; when I tested it out I was using a Petite Amp.

Other good choices would be the AKG K518 DJ, ATH M50, and ATH WS70.
