On a bit of a budget and based in th UK

Looking to use with radiopaq jazz

I've seen the Fiio e5 but is it false economy? should i wait until i can afford better?

Also seen the CMOY DIY ones but soldering isn't my strong point in all honesty.

Any thoughts guys? If these wouldn't improve things how mch would a worthwhile entry amp cost and what kind of models would i be looking at?

Cheers

Pete

Ok update from my searching and reading

I could get an E5 for £15 shipped or i could get Garys PA2V2 for £37 shipped

Anybody out there tried Radiopaq Jazz headphones with either of these?

Would be interested to hear peoples opinions if they had

Try DIY for a mini3 amp by AMB or try to look one on the FS. You don't need anything else as far as portable.

Around $100 if already built. If it is DIY it can be had for $60 if I haven't gotten it wrong

After looking around i've decided to go for Garys PA2V2, after speaking to Gary (very nice bloke btw) i've also decided i'm going to build a custom case to go with it.

There's something about the old polished oak effect that does it for me, so whether i end up with frankenwood or a sylish amp i'll post some pics for you to laugh at or enjoy
