Hello,

Can you possibly take a picture of the condition?

Billson :)
I think he means they smell bad? Idk how to fix that... Would you have to take them apart to take the pads off I wonder?

Try getting a CLEAN cloth and put on some toothpaste on it on the cloth. Use the cloth the lightly wipe the pads and then remove the toothpaste on the pads after you have done wiping around (make sure not to touch the driver) with another clean cloth.

Not sure if it will spoil the pleather on it but that's what I did on a small part of my cough long ago haha

I have not done this before to any of my headphones nor UE6000. Do this at your risk.

I just got this headphones andwhile out of the box they sounded a litle shrill, after burning them in for about 20 hours they sound quite good. I'd like to apply some eq to them with them. As a starting point I'd like to heart what others have used as settings as a starting   point for me.

I think they sound great without EQ but the trick about EQ is to never boost any region if possible. If you need certain region to be focused, reduce the rest of the FR so that, that particular point where you wish the sound to be focused on will be better focused.

Happy listening
Billson :)

Thought had a steal for $75, I was wrong. :)

In a few minutes all sold out. Perfect gift idea though.

Can't help but wonder how much to manufacture these cans with all these kinds of features.

Bought these for my first quality headphones (I've owned Skullcandy Hesh and Beats Solo in the past...). Can't wait for these to come in! I got the white version off of Amazon. I have a question though, are these or the M50's better for hip hop, R&B and gaming?

the UE6K... Haven't tested soundstage against the M50, so no comment on UE6K Vs M50 for gaming, (I use AKG K240's for gaming myself) but its a pretty good all rounder for all genres except maybe orchestra. Soundstage is about average for a closed back... Imo definitely a better pair of cans for a much better price than the m50's. Looks better, and more portable is a plus. If you want a cheap headphone just to keep at home as a gaming headphone, I suggest superlux HD681. The UE6000's soundstage and positional cues aren't very great. The Superlux HD681 has pretty great positioning and soundstage for its price...
