Good news for microrendu and native DSD aficionados, Sonore has updated the list with a pending status for the Vi DAC. In fact, the microrendu as a NAA for HQP sounds already stellar at 384kHz, so I am very thankful to Sonore for the next upcoming implementation.

Am I correct in assuming the eventually to come Source will be similar to the microrendu?

Source would be different being it can play or serve files from its internal drive. Where microrendu can only play something served from a music sever

But it can also stream from a server, no?

I think at the moment source only support streaming from Room server compared to microrendu supporting many more

With a large harddrive in it why not just put all of your media in the source?

True, BUT I already have a lot of music on a hard drive in a different room of the house. I'm sure any new music will go to the Source. Then, there's purchasing digital files, which I do on my PC, in a different room and floor than the main stereo.

I opened a new ticket on Tuesday and got a reply on Wednesday.  Same BS,

"Thank you for your time. The Vi Tubes are still in production and shipping out at a slower but steady pace due to the complex components and testing that needs to be done on each unit. I estimate that you'll receive shipping notification in about 12 weeks based on our current production rate. We will contact you once your Vi Tube is ready to leave our facility to confirm shipping address.

We will keep you updated on the progress of your Vi Tube and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us at support at anytime."

I just checked and was able to open all of my old tickets.  Getting really tired of the wait...

I got the exact same reply this week. I would really like to have my unit. Obviously I pull like it to be reliable. But I would like to have it. It's been literally years waiting.

It has stopped my upgrading for 1.5 years. I gave up and bought Audio GD Ref 7 which has now been upgraded to NOS 7 and just be happy with it for now.
