I thought Poweramp did not have full folder browsing as well but I found how to do it (then forgot and spent 30min finding it again). Don't know why they made it so complicated to access (nor is there any manual or tutorial) but try these steps:

1. On the main screen, touch the menu bar at top left.

2. Then touch Folders.

3. Next touch the three dots at the lower right of the screen.

4. Then select List Options.

5. Now scroll down and select to view folders as hierarchy. You can also choose whether to display each song within folders by filename or via different tag info.

Close the menus and you should now be able to browse up and down through subfolders.

Exactly!

Oh I definitely don't expect any changes to the implementation in basic Android, Google is obviously fine with 15 steps, but since LG has already sort of gone halfway in implementing the increments in the volume slider for the V10, I figure there's at least some chance that they'll add the option for more steps in the hard volume button too

The volume slider from the notification panel lets you go up by steps of 1. However, increments of 1 are barely noticeable (i can hear a slight volume increase) but it isn't significant till you reach the 5 mark. By the way, what headphoens/IEMS are you using? Even on my commute here (in HK) listening past 55/75 starts to hurt

I do use the volume slider, and as long as I don't have DVC enabled in Poweramp the smaller increments do work fine for me and I notice a difference between them. I'm just saying that I would like the volume buttons on the V10 to adjust the volume in smaller increments so that I don't have to use the slider. Right now they only adjust the volume in steps of 5. I'm mostly using RHA MA750's, Yuin PK1's, and Sennheiser HD598's. It's not that I want to go higher in volume, I rarely get about 45 with any of them, it's more that I find the steps of 5 too large.

True. Having to pull down the notification panel is quite troublesome. Time to buy a portal amp and fiddle with that instead :P

Tonight i plugged mine into my cars aux in like i do pretty often. After about 5 minutes of playing, it lowered the volume from full to 50 out of 75 and i couldn't increase it without unlocking the phone and pressing "OK" to a stupid warning about hearing damage. The phone knows its plugged into an auxiliary device, it shouldnt try to warn me about volume when plugged into something other than headphones. If you wanna talk about unsafe, its less safe for me to have to try to figure out where my audio went when I'm trying to drive.

The warning appears once you go to 55 no matter what mode you're in (normal, aux, or high).

I think the ok message only appears once though. After you select OK (and there might be a box to check of "don't ask again") it will still warn you in blue across the bottom but shouldn't require confirmation.

This is the only time I've ever seen this message on this phone. I put it at 75 every time i plug it into my car. Hopefully i never see it again
