Khemmis - Deceiver
I am very impressed with everything this band has been putting out! Not the biggest fan of super clean modern production sound with death metal but here, with heavy/doom it sounds really good. Very punchy and quiet fun thanks to Dave Otero.

Today, the buddy that introduced to me in the metal music, back in the 90's, shared with me this song and I loved it... Now I have purchased that EP in FLAC and also their latest album :L3000:

Dedicated to my friends here, @OctavianH and @Chris Kaoss , that have shared with me some gothic-doom albums which have became some of my favourites :relaxed:

I also love the video, but the youtube sound is not so good.

Enjoy it! :beerchug:

My favorite track from that EP is The Reticent. Really enjoy how atmospheric it is, and that synth hits so good.

Spiritual Embodiment first self titled EP is a crushing homage to good ol’ 90’s death/doom

To talk about guitar fireworks here is an understatement!

I like this better than the last two! Don’t know why? Maybe more commercial? And.....the last two were very good!
I still like the previous one better... The Bee, Amongst Stars, many others, such great songs.

Maybe this one will grow on me.

I will have to revisit the others. I don’t remember them soaring like this? Of course I may have just somehow become more in-line with Amorphis as a whole after all this time?

I listened to both briefly and Queen of Time grips me more. But the new one needs a fair chance :)

Amongst Stars, with Anneke, is such a magnificent song. The mix of brutal and angelic vocals always gets to me ...
