This is a unique blend of atmospheric black metal and shoegaze with an almost ethereal like quality to it. Really digging the layering of acoustic guitar over soaring electric guitar notes on the title track.


How did you find this? It doesn't seem to be on my streaming services. Sounds good though.

I follow the label, Avantgarde Music, on Bandcamp. Popped up in the feed. I've found following labels to be a great way to discover new or lesser known bands and stay on top of releases that aren't always on the streaming services.

Catchy as phuck!
Though I prefer the early Amorphis 'Tales from the 1000 lakes' era, these new albums are absolutely bangers. I did listen to the first track from Halo, it’s pretty damn good!

Early stuff and recent stuff, for me. Less keen on the middle part of their discography.

I find Amorphis very repetitive at times. I like when bands play around with their style, incorporate new things and what not
