  Man finally got around to listening to both the released tracks off the forthcoming Lamb of God record, and I have to say I'm cautiously optimistic. Their last CD was a pretty lackluster effort, but this shows some promise

I buy every Lamb Of God release in the hopes that the new one won't be as sucky as the last. XD
 
I miss New American Gospel... Has anyone compared the original to the remaster? The latter sounds too distorted to my ears.

With atmospheric black metal, do you mean/prefer something more nature/folk-oriented or perhaps the cosmic/psychedelic/...in space! variety?


Ethereal / cosmic / psychedelic - something to zone out / relax to :L3000:

Not a fan of mixing folk and metal personally due to my severe allergy to folk music :wink_face:

And thanks for the recommendations so far. I've heard some of it but many are new, which is great!
