PR3 continues to impress, bass is solid, weighty and nicely textured and treble clean, airy and detailed. Mids not recessed either. This track is a good example:
I had my DAP on shuffle and this came up. Sounds amazing on AS16 Pro/30 ohm:
I have been using my Xduoo X20 with a 30 Ohm adaptor, I will try the AP80 Pro X tomorrow.Hello. Can you tell me please, how loud are you listening to as16pro using Hidisz dap? Without any additional resistance. I listen to mine at around 25, low gain. Always qiestioning myself is it loud or its safe to listen at this level.
Try to get the other colour. They still sound exactly the same lol.I think i ordered last KZ BA10 from AliExpress. I ordered red-black color, but seller contacted me and asked a permission to ship other color. Now its "Out of stock".
I find PR3 to have a more airy sound with less bass emphasis.I received my PR3 and have no sibilance with foam tips.
The PR3 sound is almost the same as the PR2 v2, I would wonder if you can detect the difference in a blind test.
Maybe the sensitivity difference (volume) is a little noticeable, I tested with left PR2 and right PR3 ...
Speaking of impedance adapters, it seems that PR2 v2 was tested with an impedance adapter and it gave interesting results (for a single driver iem), presumably due to the electronic filtering. If it also works like that in PR3, it seems getting a 10-20 ohm impedance adapter could be a good way to attenuate the treble if someone finds it too harsh. Sure, one could EQ, but then you gotta EQ on all devices with possibly different OS, different software, an adapter like this could simply be more convenient. I know there are cheap 15 Ohm ones on Ali, so I may try if I find the highs too annoying.I have been using my Xduoo X20 with a 30 Ohm adaptor, I will try the AP80 Pro X tomorrow.
Yep, i asked him to send it to meTry to get the other colour. They still sound exactly the same lol.
Had a little time to spare. I find volume level of 35 perfect for me with the AS16 Pro/AP80 Pro X (without adaptor). I tend to listen a little louder but always protect my ears!I have been using my Xduoo X20 with a 30 Ohm adaptor, I will try the AP80 Pro X tomorrow.
The PR3 is already quite power hungry, adding an impedance adaptor will require quite a bit of power. I will try that, though.Speaking of impedance adapters, it seems that PR2 v2 was tested with an impedance adapter and it gave interesting results (for a single driver iem), presumably due to the electronic filtering.
