Here is my video review of the Verdandi:

I was expecting a bit more refinement and warmer signature with more uniform and even presentation. I was expecting a bit more involving and surrounding stage. I was left asking for a bit more.

More?

The verdandi got issues with the size or the fit... but in terms of soundstage or detail retrieval is hard to find better iems on the price range.

Maybe the bone-conduction is just a gimmick, or the iem is overpriced (like multiple of THIEAUDIO iems) but I cant understand when u talk about "refinement"

Just my two cents

You should try the Fibae 5 and Urd maybe their level of refinement is in a different level, in comparison, Verdandi is on the dry, uneven and raw side. It's lack of consistency is not helping either.

Mate, I tried plenty of iem, some of them expensive as hell.

Also Verdandi got a nice reception on the forum.

Anyways, thats ur opinion.

Totally agree. Just to give you some perspective.

Money means nothing, but if it's mean something for you, my collection is actually around 120iems, and I tried more than 200.

Verdandi is one of the best in sound, just the fit and the overpriced trend of Kinera make them less recomendable.

Said they lacks on "refinement" just sound as clickbait

Best looking faceplate at $30? Though I'd like it more if it had was not purple- ish

Not only the faceplate & design, but the sound it produces is also awesome. If anyone wants a very budget-friendly, warm-tuned IEM, Wyvern Abyss is a good choice.

Hey everyone!

I have a Kinera Norn, and recently I've noticed an issue that's got me worried. I've experienced a significant loss of sub-bass in both earpieces. The sound has become thinner and slightly more strident.

I've already performed several tests to try and isolate the problem:

* Tested on different audio sources: I used my smartphone, DAP, and computer, but the problem persisted on all of them.

* Swapped cables: I tested with both 3.5mm and 4.4mm cables, but there was no difference.

* Inspected ear tips and sound tubes: I carefully checked for any blockage, but found nothing.

Based on these tests, I suspect a potential issue with the Norn's sub-bass driver.

I'd like to ask for your help!

* Has anyone experienced something similar with the Kinera Norn or other IEMs?

* Are there any other tests I can perform to confirm if the problem is indeed with the driver?

* Does anyone have experience with Kinera's customer support? Are they responsive? Is the problem resolution usually quick?

I've already contacted Kinera support, but while I wait for their response, I'd love to hear your opinions. Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

QoA Adonis New and Celest Wyvern Abyss/Black impressions

These units are provided by Kinera for the purpose of touring between Audio Geek members in world wide. A big thanks to them for this. Also, a big thanks to Audio Geeks for organizing the tour.

A little bit about myself: I am certainly no reviewer! I am merely a 52-year-old music lover, with a slight IEM hoarding problem😅. I like more neutral sets, maybe QDC-like tuning, but have a wide tolerance for different sound profiles. I also have a fondness for all BA or BA+EST IEM’s, but overall sound is the important part, not the tech’s. The following is my short subjective take on this IEM!

Celest Wyvern Black and QoA Adonis New by Kinera

Two excellent sounding and pretty sets in their respective price brackets!

This is my second time listening to the Wyvern, since I already have OG Jade Wyvern Pro. The Black as it now is called have a much nicer cable without mic than the pro models with mic. Preferably this cable by a mile, of course as long as a mic is not needed. Always liked the sound of the Wyvern, specially considering the price. Nice harman’ish tuning, but… I have to be honest and admit that the……

Celest Adonis New

is the one that stole my listening time! The sub bass has more quantity and is two steps up from the Wyvern in quality, and the sound over all is just "more"😅. <- Zeos expression😂. Great sounding mids and highs, with better extension. Adonis new has a beautiful shell and cable, providing purple is a color you like. It has nice packaging and accessories. Both 07-type medium bore, and color matched wide bore silicone tips. Purple case that actually fits IEM’s and cable, (Strangely this isn’t always the case), and finally a modular cable with 3.5mm single ended and 4.4mm balanced termination. Craftsmanship is impressive, no matter price point really. As a final bonus the Adonis New also synergies really nice with my legacy sources, like Sony Walkman’s, both tape and minidisc, and iPods!

I would recommend giving a listen to Wyvern, and I definitively give a strong recommendation to hear Adonis New😊
