Maybe we can also get a Rag to drive those He-6s.

I have a wide array of 6SN7s (sadly sold the top rated ones when I  sold my HA-2 a decade ago) and 12au7 variants I can bring if you guys want to tube roll. LMK.

That would be great! I have a 6SN7 adapter for my Project Ember. It would be fun to tube roll.

I just heard back from Schiit.

"We are not able to loan gear for meets at this time. That may change in the future."

Kind of surprised me, but I bet they get a program soon now that Rag and Yggy are out. It can't be too easy to sell $2k equipment without having a way for people to hear them first.

Good news, guys!

We will have David Berning's new MicroZotl amp at the meet, courtesy of Mark from Urban Hi=Fi.

Does anybody have any 12AT7 /ECC81 tubes?

I too have have tons of 12AU7 but as per the manufacturer cannot use any other tubes unless it's a direct replacement for 12AT7.

I will go ahead and try to get a pair of Sylvania 6201 Gold brand for some tube rolling besides the stock. Failing that we can try to tube roll the 6sn7. I have some RCA VT231 and GP Audio CV181 beside a slew of others.

I can bring a pair of Tung Sol Round Plate 6SN7's and a pair of British Mullard ECC35 (6SL7GT) short brown base. I don't have enough information to know if the ECC35 can be rolled in the MicroZotl. Certainly very nice for the Balancing Act.

That would be great. I sure would like to check out the tubes I have.
