Kierland- Scottsdale Mini Meet- June27th
Jun 12, 2015 at 12:21 PM Post #16 of 72
Hey, got room for one more? I'm dying to hear those HE1000's! And a chance to compare them to LCD-3's, Alpha Dogs, and a modded HE-6! Wow! That's something I can't pass up. I can bring my Q701's and/or O2 amp if anybody is interested. (I totally understand if nobody is interested. I wouldn't be either with a brand new HE1000 in the room)

Sure.

Do you have space for 2 more rigs?

Eddie Current Balancing Act, Cullen IV PS Audio DLIII, Musiland Monitor Dragon, Senn HD-800, Denon D7000, Audeze LCD-1

Any interest in bringing my modded Woo Audio WA6?

Why not?  But that should do it.  Unless someone wants to bring a Stax 009.

It looks like Inner Fidelity has given this meet a little extra publicity. (For better or worse)

SWEET!

We are big time and important now .

Looks like I won't have the SE846 for listening, as I traded them for the K3003i's.  I prefer a more clean, brighter, and detailed signature; plus can't beat the dynamic bass!  Still unknown whether I'll have the Legend Omega's, but they're a CIEM.

For all the persons attending the meet, please PM me your names so I can provide it to the guard to allow you entry. I will PM you the address.

Visitor's parking should not be a problem. Also, there are shopping (grocery) carts-midsize- and a luggage dolly, you can utilize to bring your equipment in. The meeting room is about 50 feet from the front entrance door or about 150 ft from the furthest visitor parking.

I was thinking of two options for food. Either we can BBQ some hamburgers or we can go out to one of the dozen or so restaurants within walking distance at Kierland. Please let me know. Or we can have a third option- No food.

Unless ya'll really want me to bring my Decware pair, I'll probably leave them at home.

Your call. Though I am really interested in hearing the Eddie Current.

Sorry, sold my Accuphase that I was using to drive my HE-6s. I have a Pioneer Elite receiver but that does not sound good with the HE-6.

For the next meet we can probably get Schiit to send us some demo units. They were talking about doing Head-Fi meets rather than trade shows in the future. Actually, I'll email them right now and see if they would be interested in sending one for this meet.
