The feature set is nice, it hope the amp is capable enough to drive most headphones.

Khadas Tone2 Pro: Mini Desktop DAC with built-in Headphone Amplifier
- Thread starter KHADAS
- Start date
The Bal RCA cable/adapter will be ready for ordering in the next few days.
Just noticed the $20 off offer ends today. But i'm planning to get that balanced RCA cable as well. Can I add it to my order later?

I ordered this as soon as I got the email yesterday. It's a perfect solution for a portable laptop setup, a small balanced DAC+Amp with digital volume control, all at a reasonable price. I already have the E1DA 9038S, but I could always use more headphone amp power, and this provides according to the specs!
Yep, the Tone2 Pro is designed for desktop appliactions but still available for mobile scenarios. Is Khadas Tone2 Pro using/drawing power from other compatible devices (daps/smartphones) via USB C connection and transferring data via the same connectivity??
The T2P can draw power from Android phones and transfer data via a single USB-C cable. A power bank is recommended as Tone2 Pro will draw up to 400mA current from the phones otherwise your phone’s battery will be consumed quickly.
Be note the power consumption is a must connected to the I2S-USBC port for iPhone users, as iPhone only offer 150mA current for its peripherals.
Correct! perect for both portable laptop and iPad setupsIt's a perfect solution for a portable laptop setup
Yep, I think the T2P will be ready for ordering some time next month when the pre-order event is closed on Khadas Shop, our EU distributors below:@KHADAS is there gonna be EU availability?

I have searched at the official Khadas forum for an answer but no guarantees yet... Basically if I go on and pre-order Khadas I am going to use it with Hiby R3 or Hiby R5 daps via type c connection
That's why I need to know for sure in advance you see.....
FYI:
Rated Voltage | DC 5V | |
Power Consumption | Power off: 8mA | |

Isn't the Output Impedance too high in comparison with other products in this price range ?

You're kidding right? 1.2Ω single ended 2.4Ω balanced? That is way too low to be problematic.Isn't the Output Impedance too high in comparison with other products in this price range ?
For example in Topping L30 it's just 0.3 Ω.You're kidding right? 1.2Ω single ended 2.4Ω balanced? That is way too low to be problematic.

OK, but 0.5Ω/1Ω/2Ω you're really not going to notice any downside, it's only from 10Ω-range and upwards that you start to have problems with impedance mismatching. For example in Topping L30 it's just 0.3 Ω.
