Ha ha, thanks! 1st Odin is walnut. It feels a little decadent to have more than one. But if you really love something...It's great to have a back up, or even just the occasional switch-up for a slightly different flavor. Like having different guitars. And then just the sheer collectability factor-- which I know you all can relate to, lol.
Now I both look forward to and fear what they come up with next. There goes my wallet again...
Ha, ha ... Indeed, it is little decadent to have two Odin
(perhaps the beginning of the end of our civilization ...), but we take our actions perfectly.
When we love...
On the French forum some people think that I'm "crazy", because too enthusiastic for the brand Kennerton.
I smile; this headphone brand does not leave us indifferent.
Seriously, as you I appreciate my two headphones Odin because they each bring a slightly different flavor to the sound (one is more oriented towards classical music, with my mk1 Odin with a hand-made cable Litz wire (Vectura C) ; my Odin mk2 is more oriented for pop / rock / Jazz music, with its cable Kennerton in Litz wire).
These two headphones have also a different aesthetics : one is light-colored wood: the mk2 Odin wooden in Karelian birch (glossy lacquer) ; the other is more dark in color for the wood, the mk1 Odin in Sapele wood (with a matt varnish).
These two headphones give me a lot of pleasure and I do not regret to have both...
Congratulations, and welcome to our Odin fan club, a little crazy
