The Wodan sounds like something I should be keeping an eye on for any future HP purchases. Thanks for the detail responses in your experience. Always niece to hear others thoughts on headphones and what favourites they have 👍🏻
The other one to consider would be the LSA Diamond. I have not listened to it yet but I have heard positive comments about it.

Wodan and HP-diamond are very close to each other. Same driver tech, same housing tech.
Wonder if the tuning is different but reading Wodan reviews as a HP-diamond owner gives me the feeling that that answer is no.

I know I could order directly from LSA but I do find it easier getting my hands on Kennerton products where I am and can also demo the product as well.

If that is the case your funds go farther with a US purchase. The Diamond is $1999 delivered while the Wooden is $2624 in USD.

Would it be cheaper with import costs to the UK?

Hi. I am an owner of the Kennerton Magni and i am loving it. I was tempted by the Meze 99 classics, i love the look of it and would not mind a spare headphone for the office. Is there much difference with the Magni? Would it be a downgrade or more of a sidegrade?
The Magni is waaaaay more neutral. De 99 classic has so much more bass it was overwhelming for my taste.
Are you able to test the headphones / send it back for full refund? If so it's always better to test it with your own ears.

No i won't be able to send it back. As it will for the office i want a laid back headphone with soft trebles, which seems to be the case with the Meze.

If you already got the Magni, there's no point getting the Meze 99 classics IMHO.
The Meze is a cool laid back open back if you like loads of bass, but having tried both, I think that the Magni is better in every aspect.

Probably over your budget but I'll mention it anyway. Look out for special used offers on Meze Empyrean, as Meze now have an upgraded version, the Elite. I guess many folks will upgrade to this and sell their Empyreans; you might find a bargain.

I'm posting because I think the Empyrean fits your comments exactly; compared to Thekk it is laid back and with softer treble; but I'd say it is high quality, good sounding, makes music enjoyable. But definitely not as good as Thekk.

Like Tano, I suspect you'd be underwhelmed by the 99.
