Hello, everyone.

An orthodynamic headphones, as good, but cheaper and even lighter than the brand's current flagship product, the Kennerton Thror ?

It already exists as a prototype (here on the picture below, to the right of the Magni), but it remains to be produced, and especially to find a name for it; which one?

"I have the Odin and the Thror: Thror is better in almost everything they do, they are more practical (more comfortable), they have a smoother sound (more uniform) and more detailed.
Yesterday I visited the Kennerton office (in St Petersburg) and had the opportunity to appreciate the novelty, the Kenneton Magni. The novelty has left a good impression, the headphones are comfortable, had good bass, medium detailed enough and not bright (for high).
But most of all, I liked the prototype of the alternative version of Thror which is Kennerton's most practical (most comfortable) headphones. Only, they are not yet in production, but I hope it will change. If you like the sound of Thror but the finances do not allow you to buy it then it would be a great alternative that according to the developer is not inferior to the flagship sound and will cost less. If this model is marketed, it will be one of the best isodynamic headphones models on the market. "

" I will complete my impressions of Odin and Thror.
Thror is better suited to complex genres such as jazz or progressive. And the Odin is good when you need emotions and dynamism, for example hard rock.
Is it possible in the future to use the Odin's driver instead of an alternative version of Thror? "

I believe that ZMF and Kennerton share the same passion for beautiful woods; they are both right to present different versions of their headphones with woods all more beautiful than each other. :)
I totally agree! I am a ZMF fanboy, and love wood headphones. The Kennerton, have really caught my eye, and now I have starting to do the research. We shall see, if a Kennerton headphone is in my near future. . .

When two fans meet! :beyersmile::)

ZMF just like Kennerton are brands with a strong character.

You are going to please @Arcamera (Andrew) who loves both brands, and, in the case of Kennerton, the Vali.

Do not you think this one is superb?

For my part, I just ordered a Magni (this one) which in my humble opinion has nothing to envy to the Stellia of Focal!

A Kennerton Thror in stabilized Karelian Birch of color emerald green; it is superb!

Too bad for @ithilienrp who has no real luck in his quest for a Thror in Karelian birch stabilized or not.
Indeed, the Thror "Dark Knight" in stabilized Karelian birch of black color with bluish tints already gone, and this one, of emerald green color, already seems to have a lucky owner.

Remains the Kennerton Thror in Karelian Birch wood natural, unstabilized, also superb! :)

Yeah. Too bad. I did ask Kennerton (Ivan) about the green one when I first saw it. Unfortunately, he told me that Valentin had it reserved for someone in Russia.

I’m still waiting for my natural Karelian to arrive in Thailand.

Hi Dave,

Too bad indeed!

It's mostly the black tinted blue color Karelian birch stabilized Thror that I would have liked to have had.

I hope you will soon receive your Thror in natural Karelian birch, a very rare tree essence in Thailand!:)
(Note: The sap of the tree must be freezing in winter to obtain these remarkable mottles so characteristic of Karelian birch, which is much more common in northern Russia, the Karelian country, and the Finland).

Otherwise, you know that it is thanks to you that I just ordered my Magni (for my son Raphael, 16 years old), also in natural Karelian birch, even if the wooden cups of this closed headphones are limited to a simple ring of wood ; nothing compares to the much more elaborate cups of the Odin, Thridi and Thror.

I hope you're always happy with your Kennerton Magni headphones; I believe you are one of the first owners of this amazing closed-back headphones.:)

I always like darker color woods than lighter ones. And my only Karelian cups I have (from none other than Fischer Audio, for FA003) were kinda underwhelming.

That being said, it's wood ... so everyone of them is different. So, I do sincerely hope I will find the Karelian I'll be getting to be good and make up for my lack of luck in acquiring what I really want.

And, you're welcome for the Magni
