RR1 in my opinion needs a little bit more juice to be driven to it's potential. INOX I am not able to provide as it's net new and I didn't get a chance to sample it.Hi There, as owner of L300 and SRM252s energizer, will RR1 and Inox properly driven by SRM252s ?
The SRM252 is a rather weak amplifier for STAX, so I would recommend a better, stronger one....Hi There, as owner of L300 and SRM252s energizer, will RR1 and Inox properly driven by SRM252s ?
The 353x is better as I use it for the RR1 and the L300 limited, which is basically a L700Hi There, as owner of L300 and SRM252s energizer, will RR1 and Inox properly driven by SRM252s ?
The biggest shame is that I can only give this post 1 likeHello everyone, a little bit late but, better late than never!
Show report for one of the most memorable Headphone Shows of my life - Fujiya Avic Spring Headphone Festival 2025.
I distinctly remember watching Jude's episode on Head-Fi TV maybe 10 years ago now, when he had gone to Japan for Fujiya-Avic. Originally the show was held in Nakano, now in Marunouchi which is a fantastic location due to the access being so close to Tokyo station. Anyway to the point, after watching Jude's episode it was always a dream of mine to visit Japan specifically for Fujiya-Avic but for some reason it never happened for me as an enthusiast, way before we started making our own Headphones.
It also didn't happen for a very long time for me as a Manufacturer, we have exhibited around the world with CanJam and it has been brilliant but Fujiya-Avic was always that one event that ought to be done. In July last year in London, I had asked Jude regarding any contacts to make Fujiya-Avic possible and sure enough, he did help me in informing me about the procedure and also gave me a heads up about a fellow Head-Fi'er - Sasaki San.
To come to Fujiya-Avic is very special considering the Histroical significance of this event which pre-dates a lot of Headphone events. To come to Fujiya-Avic for the very first time as a Manufacturer is very hard for me to put into words. So, I am thankful to everyone who made this possible. Firstly of course Jude, then Sasaki San and finally Taniguchi San.
It was absolutely flattering meeting Sensei Nageno (Ex-Chief at Sony) who was responsible for some of the most iconic Headphones ever made, including the R10.
He specifically told me that that he had come by to listen to our Headphones and that meant a lot to me as an R10 owner and a big Vintage Headphone aficionado.
Mr. Nageno is Headphone royalty among Axel Grell, Heinz Renner and many others as the titans of our Industry. It was an honour getting to meet him, an absolute Legend!
Special thanks to so many of our customers who came by, it meant a lot.
And finally thanks to the people at Ear focus, our neighbors at the show. They went out of their way to in helping me when it came to translations when needed.
I owe a lot of to them for their help and kindness when they easily could minded their own business.
It is safe to say, everyone must visit Japan at least once in their life time. What a beautiful country with some of the nicest people you will ever meet!
