It's okay. Don't lose any sleep, but if you ever see one out there, or sell yours, please let me know. So far enjoying the cans. Between these and some Lambda Sigs, even considering letting the HD800s go.

Ooh yes, good stable. I run exactly that combination, though I throw an RS-1 in as well. The HD800 tempts me not.

Sold my SR-404LE and bought an SAC KH1000 amp. I reported on the SAC vs EHHA vs ZDT in the EHHA thread. It is an improvement, enough that I wont sell the K1000 for a while, but I still think my ZDT/HD800 are a little better.

What is hold you back from hearing its true potential? Amplification maybe?

My amp journey is still at its beginning. Haven't found many amps locally and wouldn't buy online because it might be a bad purchase. One way would to save so much I could buy something well-known but that takes time (the F1 is quite cheap by itself but modification to 230V takes some .. plus I don't have even that

). Luckily I enjoy my current amp quite much.

Has anybody tried the K1000 with the CEBA?

CEBA? Care sharing some info or a link?
Cause I have no idea what product that is, and I may not be the only one...

The Balancing Act is suitable for the K1000's but haven't read any comments from owners who received their new amps (1st run) recently and might have tried the K1000.

^ Aah, so you mean ECBA (Eddie Current Balancing Act).
Sorry, but then I can not help.

Yes, sorry!
I've already asked the BA owners but I got no info yet.
It's going to be a long wait!

Thank you very much! I 've been here in Head-Fi for a year and a half but did not post any messages. It's my favorite community by far.

I have spent hunderds of hours reading forums so my knowledge on headphones is mainly based on other peoples views.
The problem is money actually. I know what amps are suitable for K1000 but i don't have the money to buy any of them. I also don't even think about selling them even though i am afraid that they might have some kind of driver problem (bass harshness) when i listened through them with a digital amp (Kingrex T20U).
I want to go to a store and test them with a proper amp like the RWA 30.2 to see if it was just Kingrex's insufficient power which i hope to be.
By the way which one do you use when you listen to trance (big fan) K1000 or O2?

I wouldn't be too worried about the K1000 through the kingrex, unless you were using output resistors to compensate for the 120 ohm impedance. T amps are known to get a little goofy at K1K impedances.

gomincha, you can also test them with any decent stereo amp using the pigtail.
