If you like it give props to Hawaiibadboy and Chilaxxing. They are the reason I bought mine. I only got rid of it once I heard the Black Label was coming out. still waiting to hear the BL to see if its better than the OG

So does your phone support Power Amp, and if so, why come you no use that one (out of curiosity)?   It's practically legendary from what i've read.  Then again, Neutron gets rave reviews as well.
for example poweramp can raise frequencies below 32hz... Neutron can so for deep subbass lovers like me Neutron wins in terms of eqing even if i find it way more beautiful and user friendly than Neutron

I think my CNT 30mm driver has blossomed

I don't know , the more i listen to these bada$$ cans, the more impressed i get

I just can't believe what JVC did. They dont go bonkers when sub 40hz notes are pushed. On APO 1.1.1 20hz boosted usually makes some of my cans buzz like there are bees inside but not JVC!

These better not run out in the next year!

@OldDude04 you need to try a stronger amp with your SZ2k bro, it will blow your mind, i am not joking! E5 makes a perfectly good DAC. in fact because of it i do use a PCI Express sound blaster card, but it is strictly used in line out to an amp!

Ok, you know when you think you're getting the most out of something you own, only to find out you were getting maybe 60%? Yeah, that's what I'm going through. I was using just the Sound Blaster E5 to run my SZ2k, thinking it was all good. I ordered a cheap Nobsound NS-08E from Amazon to see if adding more juice really would make that much of a difference as you had suggested. All I can say is Holy Hell. I had to rethink my whole EQ settings, lol. This little amp is way better than it's $50 price would lead you to believe and the SZ2k's are eating it up and bouncing my brain pan around. The amp is letting the E5 shine as a DAC and giving me all I could want for power. I'm tripping out listening to all my deep note songs. Cheers to you Vapman.

Now you guys know just how awesome the JVC SZ series cans are, and just how low they can really go. Not many cans can hit that 20 hertz range well. And not that many cans can be turned up as loud without piss poor feedback being heard. But the disadvantage to them is the fact that they are not plug and play cans. They need EQ and they need amping, that alone makes them not an ideal choice for portable, if the imense size and weight are not obvious to you in that regard lol. But I think that for in the home use they are the perfect choice for any basshead. Its like having a sub woofer attached to your head. But the thing I like about these cans is that they EQ well, so if your someone like me who appreciates bass, but also likes highs, you can raize them up to +10DB or more, and have your ear drums blasted to your content of bliss. I personally know of some cans that have been reviewed that had way too many highs out of the box without EQ and have next to nothing for the bass. Those are usually the overpriced open ended cans though, their the kind that most audiophiles will try to sell on you that you need some studio grade 3000 dollar monsters in order to be happy. That is just not so. And besides, you can't take an open ended can with you on the bus, that is unless you want your stranger neighbor to know how much you like Lindsey Lohan porn while midday.

I'm glad you've made it to Basshead Heaven. A few days ago, you were on the other side with me in the land of the E5 owners telling me it was all ok :)
Now I know exactly what to do. I'll see you when I get there
