Ok so I was just chatting with a friend on facebook about dubstep music, and I mentioned that you really need subwoofers or a good pair of headphones to fully experience the music. It just so happened he mentioned recently ordering a pair of Dr. Dre beats studios for around $300+. I quickly told him that was a bad idea, and got him to cancel his order within 5 minutes. I then recommended he buy a pair of Audio-Technica ATH-M50 as a good pair of starter cans that would outperform the Beats by far and for only $150.
 
Needless to say he ordered a nice new pair of hifi headphones and saved himself a fortune while making me one very proud head-fi'er
