Some HP2s don't have them either. I have two pair of HP2. One of them has the standard cable and the other one has the Ultra-wide Bandwidth Reference cable. Some early SR325 were fitted the JGSUWBRC too. They might as well call it NTSC (never twice the same cable).

They don't have the switches so are definitely either HP2 or3.
Are you doing anything to protect the red lettering? I use renaissance wax. It is silly but the condition of the lettering affects the value of the these headphones.

Not True as I have a HP3 with the signature cable.
