Yes it is! They were shipped via UPS to them yesterday from Canada so they should get them early next week and then will be ready to ship to all their customers!

I'm not going to make any promises in dates. Probably in 2010 sometime. Sorry about the inconvenience. The V2 may be a huge change, ie not even lambskin, different materials, etc. Or, it could just be some minor changes. I haven't decided yet.

thanks for your support

will you be designing the grado pads AFTER you're done with the beyers V2? or will you be doing them concurrently?

I hope to release a nice new lineup after The Christmas holidays or at least have some protos to show people.

Expect to see protos for:

Lambskin Amp/ipod case
Beyer Lambskin Headband
Grado Pads (not sure if leather or what material yet)
Beyer Pads

As I'm only down the highway from fatman711, I got mine today. They are quite stiff, but should soften up with use. I imagine similar to my baseball mitt.

Initial impressions are that the sound isolation is much better, the sound stage has been opened up nicely...and really amazing considering these are closed headphones and the bass has tightened up.

So I would recommend them to Denon owners thinking of making the jump.

thanks for the note on your impressions. Yes, they are quite stiff when you get them and are designed like that for durability purposes. I will be posting up a video soon about how to break in the pads properly.

thanks

I'll be the first to jump on the grado pads, as long as there is some sort of circumaural offering. If so, and if it's leather, please allow us to order matching pad and headband sets. I'd be all for something like this!

Excellent...I will definitely keep an eye out for the video. They are still very comfortable "right out of the box".

Cheers!

So now we can only order the V2 Denon pads from Headroom??

Nov 19, 2009 at 7:32 PM Post #387 of 542
You can either order direct through me or through HeadRoom for the V2 Denon Pads

The V1 pads can still be ordered through Aron at Stereo Electronics in Singapore

For Korean customers, you can order from headphile.co.kr, also for the V1.

thanks

One question about that Beyer headband a few pages ago - is it meant to go over the stock one or to replace it??
