That's very reassuring. Care to share any details as to why? Mids sound too far away?

Ordered the Black Dragon V2 as well, fingers crossed i'll get it fast!
My stock single ended cables seems to have a connection issue on the right channel.

It's kind of funny that where Layla as a dip around 2k, Angie has a bump. That small difference rmakes the midrange if the two models sound so different. Angie mids are very engaging and Layla's a bit aloof.

Thanks
Thanks for your reply, done!Within 20 daysCustom eartips bcos cracking the finely-crafted hand-made Kevlar/CF Angie shells just sounds heartbreaking. And because it's reversible. Especially since all Sirens series will be replaced with metal shells soon, so you're holding on to a rare item.

Wonder if the black Dragon v2 or the Beat Audio silver sonic cable be more worth it since both price point pretty similar.
I have the Beat Audio Supersonic balanced cable for my Angies and it works well for my sound tastes; I do put the bass up at 2 a-clock. My experience with Moon's Black Dragon cables is that they seemed to emphasize bass over detail - not necessarily a bad thing.
In any case, the cheapest Beat Audio cable is $199 plus another $75 for the JH Audio bass module so it's more expensive than Moon's cable.
My two cents.

The Moon Silver will brighten things up, the Black enhances bass. Both supposedly give a 2.5 dB rise.
I've not seen a silver dragon for angie advertized on Moon. Is there one available? Have I missed it?

I was speaking in generalities, not specific to Angie. However, there is a Silver Dragon listed for JH iems (except Roxanne). Not sure if that is for Angie or not. If you are curious, send Drew an email, he responds quickly.

My black dragon v2 cable just arrive today. My initial impression is they not only improve the bass, but the detail also improved I think moon audio is managed to achieve what they're trying to do when designed this cable, this cable is worth it, I never thought that a cable can improve the sound quality this much.
This is their description on the product page:
"When designing the black dragon iem v2, we looked for a way to provide the great detail and resolution of our Silver Dragon line, and still maintain the full sound & enhanced bottom end of our Black Dragon line."
