Please do bro

Please do
Thanks for your feedback

H-16 sounds good especially in balanced. I think you will be happy with his pairing. It sounds more roomier even more so than the cable I was using on it. Doesn't quite throw out the detail of the ISN SC4 I had on it but it doesn't sound lacking. H-16 is mostly copper so the mids and bass end especially has something a bit extra. H-16 is a good pairing on the H40.

I think you will be surprised with the stock cable that comes with the H40. It is the ISN S8 which is a great cable as well. Either way I think you are set for cables.

I think I am gonna try H16 on H40 as you suggest and use the stock cable for FA7

What with level of details in comparison with IT04 ?

I only did make my impression by memory of the IT04 sound. To me, I was impressed by both and recall the IT04 as having a well balanced sound. Details, I'm not particularly certain which one of them does it better, but they're both good. The only thing that I am certain of is that the H40 sounds more engaging to me, more fun. That does not necessarily mean the IT04 sounds boring. It is not. The IT04 also sounded great when I did try them several times in the past. I can't be certain about the other details until I get the chance to compare them side by side. Though I can tell you the H40 is no slouch or far behind in detail retrieval when compared to the IT04.

Additional note: I may have to agree with @Dsnuts that the vocals on the H40 sounds more upfront compared to the IT04's.

Dunu DK-2001 vs ISN H40. How do they compare in instrument separation and layering? How about dynamics on both?
@audio123, sorry, but do you mean by "agile expression" on Dk2001?
I am trying to figure out, besides smaller size on Dk2001, what I get from D2001 by paying $100 more than I have paid for H40.
regards, Jose

Definitely shopping from Penon? I messaged looking for updates and was confirmed they’re not able yet.
You mean that H40 is out of stock there?

Rather a virus problem. They still have info on the front page about slow services and logistics.

Oh - Sorry - I didn't spot the typo. 'Shipping' not 'Shopping' :frowning2:

I emailed Penon about current delivery schedules in lieu of Corona Virus. They told me due to Government rules prohibit them currently and they're aiming for business as usual Feb 19th.
