ISN Earphones impression thread. New ISN H60!

Like I said tips make a big difference. Usually wider bored tips like spiral dots accentuate treble and bass but the EST50 don't need more bass attenuation thats for certain. In using a longer stem tip treble gets more energy and balances out the sound. I remember on the Volt thread @tgx78 graphed before and after Volt he showed on a graph before and after burn in. ESTs need burn in and that is on every Tribrid that uses them.

After using these double flange tips it is hard to use anything else for me.

What is you're typical burn in process? Just run music through them non stop at 75% volume?

No loud volumes , I would leave volumes at your normal listening level. You can damage BAs and EST drivers by blasting volumes.
It is different for dynamic earphones that is where you can crank up the volume a bit but anything with BAs involved you dont want to blast anything on them.

Just let it play music at normal listening levels and you should be golden.

By the way if you guys want more shimmer and sparkle. Try a pure silver cable with a longer tip. I forgot to mention that. Silver cables work extremely well on the EST50s.

hmm not that long. <50hrs for sure and only not really proper burn-in.
@ehjie did use spiral dots. That was the reference.
@Dsnuts no it doesn't sound lacking treble. Just need a bit more spark? I know some prefer this kinda smooth treble.
You should wait 150h before give up... ESTs need a lot of hours to shine.

LOL, patience please and 150 hours to go. @tgx78 graph showed a 1.5+ db bump in the upper trebles (volt est) after weathering...

EST50 treble is actually not quite enough for me. It's smooth for sure but could use more spark.
This' coming from using piezo's treble. *cough* intime *cough* @ehjie.

Good IEM. Another fun-tuned budget king. I have both original and 2019 versions. I think the original has a tad bit more bass than 2019 (also depending on the tips). I love them but the treble sometimes sound unnatural (or plasticky as some calls it). For me they have a mild U-shaped sound which has a bit more bias to the treble. If EST50's treble is a little less bright with richer mids then that's definitely more favorable for me.

What tips are these? Where can I buy them?
I also bought some EST50 last week, taking advantage of the exclusive discount that sent to me from Penon Audio.
I can't wait to receive and burn them, and be able to compare them to my current itsfit Fusion.
I have also bought an extra pure silver cable and a graphene cable. I'll try both and I'll tell you which one I prefer with the new EST50s.

it might be a Brainwavz double flange tip. I have actually been looking for similar tips as these have the widest openings for all of my double flange tips. My point with that post is I really like longer sitting/ deep insertion for the EST50s and double flange tips sit the longest. Well triples are longer but I hate the way triple flange tips feel. They feel like ear probes so no go on a triple flange but might be worth checking out. You can try just about any double flange.
