How is the stem length of the H40? Is it easy to get a deep fit?

TIA

It is easy to get deep insertion fit as they are intended that way, but for me I can't feel comfortable for a long session with protrude, not only with H40 but with other IEMs too. So i guess its just my personal problem because of my ear shape

Totally get it! At first when I saw the size of these phones, I too thought that they were too ridiculous for my ears. I was pretty lucky this time, a shot in the dark really. I found the right fit and somehow they fit. Those are both very good options, heard of the Shozy F 1.4's? I heard they are pretty good over the 1.1s. Good luck!
Was interested in the 1.4 a bit since I really like the 1.1 but also realized that I have ordered the thieaudio voyager 3 so I don't really need the 1.4.

Size comparison for anyone interested.
Earsonics S-EM9 and the H40

S-EM9 has a smaller shell, one of the smallest I’ve come across.

The sound signature out of the box was a bit warm and somewhat bloated mid bass.
After about 4 hours, treble has opened up. I'm hearing better details.

It's no longer too warm and mid bass has slightly settled down.

Vocals do not sound as natural as my other IEMs. Perhaps this will change with over time. Most likely brain burn in.

Please update your thoughts after "burn in".
Appreciated.

Out of the box for me was outstanding. My ears heard no mid bass bloat and only a slight warmth to keep the timbre natural. I have stated here before that I dislike warm signature earphones, and I don't fine the H40 a generally warm iem.
Yea agreed, it is not a generally warm IEM.

Hi guys, what do you think ISN H40, Ikko OH10, Tri i3, or Blessing 2 would be the best for mainstream music? With E1da PowerDac v2 and 9038s.
I had a shuoer tape, i liked it except the 3,5-4khz peak.
And had a fiio fh7 for a week, it was great just too expensive.

I recently ordered the blessing 2 because I've been on a mid lover streak as if late.

If you're into a generalist type, maybe you can research more on the ikko, isn, and maybe even consider the dunu dk2001 or orivetti 500. Maybe final audio e5000. you can follow my path if you want a chunk less bass compared to the ones mentioned.

Due to many enquiries on Dunu DK-2001 vs ISN H40, for the soundstage, the H40 is bigger for both width and depth. The treble on the H40 is more extended with extra sparkle. The midrange on the DK-2001 is more forward and there is a leaner presentation. The bass on the H40 is fuller with greater impact while the DK-2001 has a more agile expression. Honestly, they are very competent IEMs so it boils down to individual preference. :)

audio123: Can you please compare the H40 to the Dunu DK 2001?
Already did the comparison a while back due to many enquiries!

@Dsnuts has them and did a fantastic objective comparison in his review.
It is an excellent comparison by @Dsnuts.
