I'm shopping for a pair of HD 650 headphones. The prices on ebay are about 100 $ less than I can find anywhere else.. Specifically I am talking about this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Sennheiser-HD-650-Audiophile-Headphones-HD650-NEW-/310271751050?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item483da3338a#ht_1822wt_1139

The seller (Razor Dog Deals) has good ratings, and is listed as one of the official online retailers by Sennheiser (http://www.sennheiserusa.com/serviceandsupport_authorized-dealers_online-dealers).

Please let me know if it is safe to go ahead with this.. Sennheiser does have a warning on their website about counterfeit products selling at ridiculously low prices.

Thanks.

Like anything on ebay, compare his price to what others are asking and check the feedback.  If the price is in the general ballpark of what other sellers are asking, you should be okay.
I purchased both my M30's and M50's from ebay and just avoided the sellers which were ridiculously lower than anybody else.

If you are smart about it then yeah.  Just look around to make sure there aren't any fakes around for whatever headphone you have.  If you are careful then it's a good place to buy and if you are patient you can find that low price you want...or just buy from the for sell/buy for a used good deal.

eBay isn't always bad. Bought a pair of TF10vi's for $200 brand new. Sure that's not awesome from an American market perspective but the way Logitech distributors rape Australian's pockets with massive mark-ups it's a damn good deal.
