I have Googled. I can´t buy from US, that´s why I specifically said "In EU". Amazon doesn´t ship to my country for some strange reason, even when my country is a EU country.

But I also want to know if the D7000 is discontinued? And if so, why? I don´t necessarily want to buy discontinued products.

It's not discontinued, as far as I know.

try to find a electronic store. Most hold Senn, Shure, Sony and other S- brand names for some apparent reason. Report back results please. Other then that, if you can't find them locally, it's going to be worse with import charges and fees.

In Sweden, only Hifiklubben sell Denon. And they do so at a hefty extra charge. I'm sure it's something similar in Finland.

EDIT: actually thats not really a good price in Euros. For some reason I thought the exchange rate was £1=1€

as of Today... i suppose the Denon D7000 is *tears.. Discontinued..
i guess because of the creation of the Denon D7100 and their other flagship models. the D7000 is no longer the original flagship model.
