To have an audiophile setup, I need an amp, DAC, and headphones, right? Is the DAC only for computer use? I would be using a CD player as my source. Do I need a DAC/amp combo or is seperate best? Does a DAC make a huge difference is SQ?

Most CD players already good DACs in them so you probably won't need to use another one instead.

I am stuck now. I have to use a Zune because of the Zune Pass. I love it. I want to use my Zune 120 with a DAC/Amp. What should I do? Is there no possible way to get a pure digital signal out of a Zune? How about a pure digital signal out of a portable CDP?

I don't think you can get a digital signal out of a Zune.  If you have or want headphones that the Zune can't drive itself then just adding another amp in between is likely to work just fine.

You can also get lod for a zune on ebay, not sure if it's the same pure signal as ipods though
