I haven't had the chance to listen to them and since Vyrus was the first Trinity iem i bought, i am not aware of the rest of their lineup. Would appreciate if you could describe how they compare them Vyrus.

Boy do I wish I could help you with that. I don't have the Vyrus and only had the Delta V1 so I wouldn't be of much help there. But I believe at least a couple of others here in this thread have them all in their collection. Hopefully they can help you out.

Unless I am getting really confused, Brooko compared the forerunner of the Atlas Delta as being in the same class as the FLC8S.  At about half the price; that would represe nt awesome value.   I have recently acquired the Vyrus, and seem to be honing in on one of the two gold flavors as my preferred filter.

Now I like the Vyrus; but it is more in the camp of a great value and a unit that I do not freak out when I take them out of my bag when travelling.  Yes, I have indeed lost earphones on planes and airports.  Plus, when travelling with kids, Dad's IEM units get hijacked all the time.  Dad, Iost my headphones.  Then its goodbye to my latest toys.  Happens all the time.  If I had something like the Alpha Delta, I would rather have the Vyrus in the bag also so I could just hand that over.

I think the Vyrus low end bass can sound a bit congested when there is too much low end activity.  I do not get that sense when using some like a multidriver pair such as the now discontinued LZ-A2.  And that sets up interest in my part for the Alpha Delta.

Sure would love to see some Trinity units go on tour here in the US (hint hint).  Maybe you could set up Uncle Nick with some to kick off proceedings (like Brooko he has a knack for uncovering great stuff like the FLC8S and Shanling hardware).

I wouldn't put either of the Delta or Atlas in the realm of the FLC8, or others in that US $300 + range. Nor do I think Brooko was doing so in his Delta V2 review, rather pointing out the differences and why he prefers the Delta signature.
Not expecting the PM4 to quite get there for that matter although obviously I can't say it won't happen, and it would be nice. Especially for the stupid low price paid for pre-orders.

I hear the Vyrus similarly to you, @originalsnuffy, I've zeroed in on the gold damped filter myself. I consider it a baby Delta, with less technical ability, a little less air and more bass (gold filter closer to Delta gunmetal I think), but it gets the listening time because the fit is effortless. I can't get the Delta V2 to stay in my ears. I need to find a nice someone to gift it to.
It does mean Delta sound with Atlas build (but with longer Delta nozzles for fit) is a no-brainer at yet another stupid low pre-order price, though.

Yes, its the damped gold that I have mainly been using. And also yes, I like the comfort of the deltas.  Like the carbo tenores, they are great for use in bed before falling asleep.

I don't count sheep, just filters and tips.....

Now that I think of it, given Brooko's day job; it is stressful for him to count sheep?  Inquiring minds want to know.

I just noticed It's October. Super stoked to see if the Master 4 gets shipped out. Need a new toy, and Bob makes some pretty good toys.

Just saw the Techne back on sale for £35, and also the Atlas Delta is now £10 more expensive at £70, but also eligible for trade in! Thanks Bob, gonna upgrade my Delta V2s to the Atlas Delta

Woah nice, thanks for the heads up, swapping mine out for sure

EDIT: Anyone done the trade-ins before? I see that you ship out your old ones after you receive the new IEMs (from what I see in the instructions), but where do we ship them? Can I trade in both my v1 and v2?

I feel like this was answered many moons ago, but my google-fu is weak this morning

... I can't get the Delta V2 to stay in my ears....

If you haven't already, I suggest trying the Kombi tips on the Delta V2.  I had the same issue using the stock silicone tips, but the Kombis work really well for me.

I haven't gotten my Kombi tips yet but the memory foam tips did the trick for me on the Delta v2
