Introducing the EVGA NU Audio Pro Cards - Ascend From Lifelike Audio to 7.1 Heaven

Hey Lee M, there appears to be a typo somewhere on the listed multichannel specs. On the main page on the EVGA website, when you click on the "specs" tab, it says that 7.1 analog is 24Bit/192kHz. However, in the manual you guys have available to download, it says 7.1 analog is 32Bit/192kHz. Can you verify which one is correct ? I am really looking forward to getting this card.

32Bit is correct. Thanks for checking!

Yes, it's part of the Nahimic DSP, which can be toggled on or off.

Does it use multiple mics to cancel or just an algorithm?

It would be cool to have a small module (could be an extra or included accessory) that has a small mic array on your desk for some active noise cancellation

Not that it matters to me tbh, I'm running a Snowball, and I have the Gigabyte ad27qd monitor that has the microphone array on it for noise cancelling mics if I choose to go to a wired instead of my USB mic at some point

It uses the Nahimic algorithm.

a thorough A/B comparison with the GSX 1000 7.1 amp would be really nice !! I made the switch this year from mini ITX to micro ATX so ... :)
we're talking about games/movies now, the immersion factor and/or soundwhoring capabilities of this card have to be tested ASAP :D

DT880 250 Ohm. This is the best headphone at the around 180 US level. Neutral, detailed, wide soundstage, nice imaging capabilities, extremely comfortable. You can't beat it for the price.

My Nu Audio Pro 7.1 sound card shipped today. If anyone wants, I can put up my impressions once I get it. I currently own a Creative ZXR card, so I can do a comparison with that card as well if anyone wants.

I will test the card with the stock AD8056 and OP275 opamps first. I will then swap out all of those opamps, and test with 4 x LME49720HA metal can opamps. After this, I will try 4 of the Burson Audio V6 Vivid Dual opamps. I have all of these opamps at home, so this will be a very interesting test.
