How do you find the internal DAC card? I kind of want the ESS card for my Jot-A. Unison, correct?

It's on the left side of the Jot, looking at it from the rear. It should have a Type B USB connector on it. Only way to figure out which one it is (MB vs 9028) would be to take it out of the Jot.

BTW, I finally got myself an LCD-R, thanks to you bringing it to one of our meetups and loving the sound of it. I really like it. Smooth, dynamic sound.

I liked it much better than I expected based on the size of the card. I thought it sounded quite good and it was very convenient too. I did not feel I was not missing much vs my more expensive DACs. Installation was a little bit of a pain because you have to use a lot of force to get the card in place. It is their ES9028 DAC card.

Thought I'd mention this here too, Jeff Zhu from Holo Audio said this about the upcoming Holo Bliss headphone amp:

"Bliss will have a mode that should be able to drive LCD-R well. But I need to one for test."

I didn’t even know about the list! Happy to share my serial - what are people looking to glean from the sharing of the serials?

As for program I’m using roon but I recall that J.River works too if I’m not mistaken

My Brother in Law ended up selling his #37 to someone but it wasn't through head-fi. Maybe someone will chime in saying they now own #37. I still have mine!!!

2023 - about time for a LCD-R(2)
Maybe give it some nice Walnut wood without Lichtenberg treatment and make it non-limited.

Also add a transformer Interface instead of its own amp to make it useable with regular amps.
