Official website said that 18watt support, but manual recommend to use DC5V 2A adapter.
Can you charge with 10watt when battery reach like 25%?
See that if still freeze.

I am using Anker Prime Charger that auto adjusts the output based on need. Sometimes it seems like it doesn't even charge the M8T and it is extremely slow when it does. I do have have the player on though.

So have you ever experienced the aforementioned charging issue?
No, I don't have the issues mentioned above specifically (does not freeze). On my anker desktop charger, I can see when a device is connected and exactly how much power is being drawn. It shows 0 and of course the m8t is also not charging. I replugged it a few times and it finally started to draw power.

You are using a smart charger, so maybe the player and the charger needed to "addapt " to each other at first. Hopefully it will work from now on well for you.

Another thing regarding the charging issue. I know that the m8t received its first software update few days ago. Could it be that the issue has occurred after the update? Also are they any users who haven't had this issue yet? I could be wrong but I have the feeling that all people in this forum who have purchased and received the player have reported similar charging problem?
for my issue , i found issue before fw update and after update fw still found issue

Sorry, I edit it because it was duplicated above.

Charging is still really slow. Here is a screenshot as an example.

Can you install Ampere app and check at what rate is it charging?

Got a chance to listen to the M8T for a few minutes today. Wonderful separation of sound. Bass has an honest depth (not bloated or exaggerated). Mids are very detailed and rightly positioned as if listening to an intimate live performance. Highs are just about right. Not crazy sparkly, but more towards natural sounding timbre. I’ve been running it since last week and will give it a few more days to burn in before I do prolonged listening.
