does that mean bit perfect support?

I'm not sure what exactly you mean? For USB output?

It brakes replay gain in all music applications, native too. Replay gain toggles just do nothing now :frowning2: Rolled back to previous version. Hope, it will be fixed in 1.34.

Will check on this.

Soooo, is M7 brighter sounding dap?
Looking for a synergy with Legend X to open up treble a bit.

So the right one is using my android phone to play roon, and the OS overrides the audio setting to raise to 48kHz even though it should be 44.1Hz

The left pic is from using Roon with a hifiberry 'roon ready' device

i've seen that A&K devices are roon ready. i wonder if that is a very difficult thing to do on the android OS

edit: as i understand, roon arc does allow android devices to play bit perfect audio if you attach an external dac... but that feels redundant when the device has a badass dac!

We are aware of this and software team is looking into further optimization for Roon.

Tried M7 yesterday with my IEMs, IE900 and IERZ1R and it turned out to be little bright. But, I found one issue in M7, in Mid Gain, SQ difference between Apple Music and Tidal is vast. My Z1R sounded narrow and in my face with Apple Music, whereas with Tidal all of Z1R’s best traits were presented as it is. The difference is reduced to large extent when M7 is on High Gain. But this wasn’t the case with all my previous DAPs. Did anyone observed this kind of difference in SQ between two streaming apps in their M7 or any other DAP?
