I would also really like the M7. I also find it amazing that Shanling uses such good components in their players as Panasonic pos caps and Elna Silmic II. It is also interesting in terms of price. I'm curious how the M7 compares to iBasso DX 240. I bet that the M7 sounds a little warmer in comparison, smoother. Question to @ 14 Christ Have you also order one from MusicTeck ???

Not yet but will be as soon as my dx312 gets back from iBasso service. Lol

I think it's a good decision to sell DX 300 before D320 comes out. By the way, iBasso's sales work really gets on my nerves. You don't get any information for months. Although it has been on display at 2 shows, nothing can be seen on the DX 320 website. I like that much better at Shanling. If you ask Shannling a question here, you will get an answer within a day. Great!! And since I'm still looking for a player for on the go that is smaller in size than the DX 300 or 320, I'll probably buy the M7 rather than the DX 240. Just by looking at the quality of the components. Also, I think the M7 looks better too.

Unfortunately they are really into verbiage but not into comparison. Yet, they are mentioning player being close to M9, warm and technical

Verbiage is not the word. The clear stickers on the back of the player look very cheap. At least iBasso had it's name etc. laser etched on it's DX240 which looked very classy.

Worte sind nicht das Wort. Die durchsichtigen Aufkleber auf der Rückseite des Players sehen sehr billig aus. Zumindest hatte iBasso seinen Namen usw. per Laser auf seinen DX240 geätzt, was sehr edel aussah.

Very interested to hear the difference between the M7 and Fiio M17 since they both use ESS Pro. I was about to pull the trigger on the latter...but although i love the connectivity options (including 6.3!), I'm not a huge fan of the THX circuits Fiio uses as found in my M11 Pro. Those comparisons should be inevitable....

I‘m really happy with the M6 pro 21 and wondering how the M7 sound compares to the M6 Pro 21? Size wise how much bigger is the M7 vs M6.
Also wondering has there been any improvement to the Shanling music player software, is it’s gapless yet? Not a huge deal since there other music app, but it still be nice to have gapless in prime mode.
Hopefully we will see some reviews soon, It looks like it’s be a nice option between the M6 and M9. The M6 and M8 are both excellent units, but it concerns me with future usability since there using Android 7 and no way to update them. With M7 and M9 using android 10 there’s no longer this concern.

In sound, M7 to my ears is the more balanced, better controlled, with significantly better soundstage reproduction. M6 Pro 21 in comparison sounds bit more V-shaped, energetic, but lacking finesse.

M6 Pro is slightly longer and narrower, M7 is a bit thicker and wider (the rounded edges also pushing this effect). M7 definitely the more robust out of two, but nothing that would significantly change how portable it is.

The app on M7 is identical as the one on your M6 Pro 21.

There are no stickers on the back. These are just protective foil that the reviewer forgot to remove. The logos are etched into the clear glass parts of back panel

But the comparison would not be fair. Because the M17 has 2 ESS Pro inside. It's also a portable desktop player. But nothing for the pocket But maybe you buy a special trowser with XXXL pockets.But be carefull !!! something could burn what we men need everyday. Seriously, the part gets really hot. There is no stand with ventilation included for you not need it.You will be have for that beast

More interesting and on the same level who compares the M7 with iBasso DX 240. Personally, I could imagine that I like the sound of the M7 better. How did the resident put it?? A warm and dynamic rendition. So I'm really excited.

Has anyone received the M 7 from Musicteck???

@ Shanling : I have a question. It may be that it seems stupid because you are determined to get the best possible sound out of your devices. But have you ever thought about using Audio Note Kaisei NP as your flagship at least in the M 9 and M 7 instead of Elna Silmic II?? I know they are considerably more expensive, but I personally wouldn't care if the player costs 50 euros more. The M8 only contains 4 pieces. So I think and not only I that the AN Kaisei sounds much better than Elna Silmic II. Have you ever tested this??? Sorry I'm just curious.

I think it's actually quite fair because just one of those chips is an eight channel device--which should be plenty for portable player if implemented properly. Keep in mind even the crème de la crème Oppo 205 Blu-Ray which also has two ESS Pro DACs dedicated an entire DAC *just* for the stereo outputs.

The size the M17 doesn't bother me cause I won't be towing it around--the THX circuit does cuz I find it a bit too bombastic in my M11 Pro. The Shanling uses the newer TI 2211 Op-Amp which is curiously not even compared on THX's site (only much older 1662)...so I do think the M17-M7 comparison other than outright power will be closer than people think.

Yes you are right. But if you can wait 14 Christus have the Fiio M 17. And he also want buy the M 7 . Then he will tell us something about the difference about them.
