The album and artists display is pretty messy with M30. I am curious about the Amp module but more excited about the next DAC module
Yeah, it's more than fine to use M30 as pre-amp directly to power amp.So especially XLR will provide more than double as much power as the 2V specification for standard DACs, so no preamp necessary for connecting Poweramps.
Thx @Shanling

Different Artists, same Title. Why are these albums merged in the Local files->Artist selection?
Anyone has older firmware downloaded and kept ? Please share with me. I can’t deal with the craziness of songs scanning and or funkiness of local stored files with this current firmware

Sometimes it just refuse to scan at all, like the scanning is displayed, but it never registered any songs.Yeah, it's more than fine to use M30 as pre-amp directly to power amp.
Because our app can't deal with these properly.
We do not recommend installing older firmwares on M30.
Please what is causing you issue on the song scan/folder browsing in new firmware?
Sometimes it just refuse to scan at all, like the scanning is displayed, but it never registered any songs.
Also when connected to usb for MTP modes, it doesn’t do anything as it would get stuck and freeze up, that I would have to take out the MicroSD and do it manually. Then it would on the first initial input of the MicroSD, do a scan, and register folders and tracks, but some of it would be missing like an album of 10 tracks would register only 3 and showing 3/3!!!
Then the couple seconds silence at the beginning of every track. The new firmware is very annoying. The only good thing is that it would start to read my Sandisk 1TB with the same issues above, but beside that, everything is like a degrade from the previous FW

I am a noob this section, how do you reset library ?For library scan, I can only recommend to to Library reset if you see any issues with the scanning function.
Whole device freezes when connecting to USB-C port? Does it happen immediately upon connecting?
You can send us the album that doesn't show correctly, to check what might be causing it.
Silence at start of the playback was reported to engineers.
In the player setting, there is Reset Library button.I am a noob this section, how do you reset library ?
It freeze only when I try to write something into the MicroSD, like drag and drop from a Windows PC into it, which never happened with previous FW

Sometimes the music seems to start too late a fraction of a second. It’s a pity that the software is far behind in this wonderful product…For library scan, I can only recommend to to Library reset if you see any issues with the scanning function.

I used to be able to tolerate the bugs with previous FW , not the newest oneSometimes the music seems to start too late a fraction of a second. It’s a pity that the software is far behind in this wonderful product…
Oh wow, I've always wanted to check the MySphere out, it looks pretty interesting.Demoing the MySphere with the M30. Driving it at volume 38 on turbo gain. Such an interesting pair of ear speakers!
Yes, the MySphere 3.2 is a really interesting concept from the same team who created the AKG K1000. They have made a fair number of improvements as well. Great thing about having the ear speakers that can swivel is that you have quite a few positions for you to try them. So, for different recordings, you may adjust accordingly. The angle that the ear speakers bear to your ears will be adjust the balance between soundstage and bass impact. Another adjustment point is the position that you slide the ear speakers along headband: this allows you to find your own optimal balance between trebles, mids and bass.Oh wow, I've always wanted to check the MySphere out, it looks pretty interesting.
On the other hand, the M30 could move the power hungry DCA Stealth with good low-end and sound stage at volume 60 on turbo gain. A lovely pairing with intoxicating mids. It's amazing what the Stealth could do as a closed back and I'm eagerly awaiting the new AMP module for the M30. A new DAC module would be great too in order to spice things up a bit.
The Stealth are not plugged into the M30 in the picture as I was testing them with multiple portable and transportable devices.
Could you share a very quick comparison between Stealth and Denon AH-D9200 on M30 (as it's my only closed back reference for now)Oh wow, I've always wanted to check the MySphere out, it looks pretty interesting.
